Adding devices to a device pool

You can add a device to an existing device pool, unless it is a tape drive in a cascaded drive pool. Tape drives that are in a cascaded drive pool will be automatically deleted from the cascaded drive pool if they are placed in another device pool. You cannot add virtual disks on a storage array to a device pool. Backup Exec automatically adds virtual disks to the All Virtual Disks device pool.
