About editing the ralus.cfg file

You can add or delete media servers from the list of media servers found in a Linux or UNIX host ralus.cfg file. Adding a media server to the list expands the number of media servers that can back up the host, while deleting a media server removes it from the list of media servers from which it can be backed up. You can also modify naming information for a media server such as its DNS name or IP address.

A media server entry in a ralus.cfg file conforms to a specific format, which you must follow to ensure a successful publish from the host to the media server.
