Customizing the Remote Agent for Windows Systems Bulk Upgrade and Update Utility

You can customize the Remote Agent for Windows Systems Bulk Upgrade and Update Utility. You can use a command line switch to turn off the automatic import feature or to allow for new installations.

You may want to turn off the automatic import feature if you work in an environment with a large number of servers. The Bulk Upgrade and Update Utility automatically builds a list of servers using your user-defined selections and servers that publish to the media server. If you do not want to work with all of those servers, it can be time-consuming to remove them from the list. You can use a command line switch to turn off the automatic import feature.

The Bulk Upgrade and Update Utility does not perform new Remote Agent installations by default. It upgrades and updates only outdated versions of the Remote Agent. You can use a command line switch to change this feature so that you can push new installations while you upgrade and update existing ones.
