Synopsis

Removes disk cartridge devices from Backup Exec.

Syntax
Remove-BEDiskCartridgeDevice -InputObject [<BEDiskCartridgeDevice[]>] [-PassThru [<SwitchParameter>]] [-Confirm [<SwitchParameter>]] [-WhatIf [<SwitchParameter>]] [<CommonParameters>]
Description

Removes disk cartridge devices from Backup Exec.

Parameters

-PassThru <SwitchParameter>

Passes the removed object to the pipeline. By default, this cmdlet does not generate any output.

You can pipe a Backup Exec disk cartridge device object to Remove-BEDiskCartridgeDevice.

When you use the PassThru parameter, Remove-BEDiskCartridgeDevice returns an object that represents the disk cartridge device that was removed. Otherwise, this cmdlet does not generate any output.

Example
C:\PS> Get-BEDiskCartridgeDevice "Device 0001" | Remove-BEDiskCartridgeDevice

These commands remove a disk cartridge device named "Device 0001".
