Domains

If Draw Domainsis checked, ADTD will draw all active directory domains discovered in the forest. If you would like to draw only specific domains use the Draw Domain Listbox.

Use the Listboxto select any specific Domain which you would like to draw exclusively

Select between two possible drawing Modes:

Use this mode if you would like to have a full detailed domain drawing. This feature requires direct network connection to each domain. The drawing process may become slow if the network connection is also slow.

Use this mode if you would like to see fewer details in the domain drawing. This feature is especially useful, if you don‚t have direct network access to all domains in the forest.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to draw any IntraforestTrust which exists in the forest.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to draw and discover DownlevelTrusts and domains. It draws also the Domains as discovered.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to draw and discover Cross ForestTrusts. It draws also the corresponding Forest Root Domains for the discovered Forests. Eventually existing Child Domains in these Forests will not be drawn.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to discover details for trusted Active Directory domains. It tries to detect FSMO Role holders and all existing Domain Controller in the trusted Active Directory domain.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to count all Users per Active Directory Domain. Note: It does not count users in DownlevelDomains. ADTD may become unresponsive for some time during the drawing process. This is normal and depends on the number of Users per Active Directory Domain and WAN Connection speed to this domain.

If checked this option instructs ADTD to check whether an Active Directory Domain Controller is a Global Catalog Server or not.
