The Test Lab Module

In the Test Lab Module, the user organizes design tests in ordered groups called test sets that will usually run as a testing unit. A design test may be used more than once in a test set. Each use is called a test instance. The module is also used to perform the actual testing.

Test sets are stored in the CYCLE Table, while their logical organization is in the CYCL_FOLD Table. The design tests that comprise the test sets are linked to the test sets in the TESTCYCL Table.

The result data from running tests or test sets is in the RUN Table. There is a record for each run of each test instance.

The Test Lab module also provides the data in the HOSTS and HOST_GROUP tables.
