The Find dialog box allows you to search scroll buffer for a text. You can open it by clicking Find on the Edit menu.

Find what

Enter the text you want to search.

Up

Searches the scroll buffer in the direction of bottom-to-top.

Down

Searches the scroll buffer in the direction of top-to-bottom.

Match case

Upper and lower cases are treated as different characters in the Find what box.

Use regular expression Select this option when you want to enter a regular expression into the Find what box. For more detailed information about regular expression, refer to Regular expressions.
