By default Xlpd starts printing immediately upon receiving a print job. If you want to suspend print jobs before sending to the printer, follow the instruction below.

1. Open Xlpd main window.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Select a queue that has pending print jobs.
4. Click the Properties button. RESULT: The Queue Properties dialog box opens.
5. Click the Options tab.
6. Clear the Print received jobs immediately check box.
7. Click OK or Apply. RESULT: The received print jobs are listed as Ready status on the Jobs list.
