You can connect to a remote computer quickly by entering a
command at the Address bar without creating a session.
To connect to a remote computer at the Address bar:
- Enter one of the following commands into the Address
bar:
- ftp://hostname
- sftp://hostname
- Press the Enter key, or click Go.
Note: You can also enter a user name and a port number at
the commands. For more information on the command usage, see
Address bar.
To connect to a remote computer using the Quick Connect
bar:
- In the Host box, enter a hostname or IP address.
- Enter the user name and password.
- Click on an arrow next to the last button that says FTP or
SFTP, and then select an appropriate protocol.
- Press the Enter key or click the last button.
