In Xftp, users can set initial remote and local folder for each session . Also, with the multiple local folder view feature, users can have different local working directories open for each sessions. When an Xftp session starts, the initial folders are displayed on local and remote folder window. For faster access to your frequently used folder, set it as your initial folder.

To set the local initial folder:

1. Open the Sessions dialog box.
2. Select a session to set the local initial folder.
3. Click Properties on the Toolbar.
4. Click Options tab on the Properties dialog box.
5. Do one of the followings:
   • Enter the initial folder on the Local box.
   • Click Browse and select the folder from the dialog box.
6. Click OK.

To set the remote initial folder:

1. Open the Sessions dialog box.
2. Select a session to set the local initial folder.
3. Click Properties on the Toolbar.
4. Click Options tab on the Properties dialog box.
5. Enter the initial folder on the Remote box.
6. Click OK.
