Why
isn't there a server list in Windows Media Services Administrator
for the Web?
Under certain circumstances, the security settings for Windows
Media Services Administrator for the Web will not permit you to
administer multiple servers. In these cases, you can only
administer the local host. Some common causes of this condition
are:
Your browser is not Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) capable. SSL
allows secure communication over the Internet using encryption. If
SSL is not used, your remote server communications may be
vulnerable to interception.
You were authenticated using only NTLM. NTLM uses your network
logon credentials to provide authentication and is not as secure as
direct server authentication.
