The WMS IP Address Authorization plug-in is used to control
access to your content based on
Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. You can add specific IP addresses
or ranges of IP addresses for which you want to allow or restrict
access. In the Windows Media Services snap-in, you have the
following options for configuring this plug-in.

Allow

Displays the IP addresses and subnet masks that are
allowed to access the content on your .
- Click Add to add an IP address or subnet to the
list.
- Click Edit to modify an IP address or subnet in the
list.
- Click Remove to delete an IP address or subnet from the
list.

Deny
|
Displays a list of IP addresses and subnet masks
that are not allowed to access the content on your publishing
points.
- Click Add to add an IP address or subnet to the
list.
- Click Edit to modify an IP address or subnet in the
list.
- Click Remove to delete an IP address or subnet from the
list.
