To add values from the local registry

  1. In the Component Designer navigation pane, expand the appropriate component.
  2. Under the expanded component, right-click Registry, and then click Drag from Local Registry.
  3. In the navigation pane of the Local System Registrywindow, browse for the appropriate registry key to add to your configuration.
  4. In the details pane of the Local System Registrywindow, right-click the appropriate registry value to add, and then click Copy.
  5. In the navigation pane of Component Designer, under the appropriate component, right-click Registry, and then click Paste.
    Note   You can drag-and-drop only registry values under bold registry keys from the Local System Registrywindow to Component Designer.
    When you copy a registry value, the associated key is also copied.
