- In the Component Designer navigation pane, expand the appropriate component.
- Under the expanded component, right-click Registry, and then click Drag from Local Registry.
- In the navigation pane of the Local System Registrywindow, browse for the appropriate registry key to add to your configuration.
- In the details pane of the Local System Registrywindow, right-click the appropriate registry value to add, and then click Copy.
- In the navigation pane of Component Designer, under the
appropriate component, right-click Registry, and then click
Paste.
Note You can drag-and-drop only registry values under bold registry keys from the Local System Registrywindow to Component Designer.
When you copy a registry value, the associated key is also copied.
