To add a registry key

  1. In the Component Designer navigation pane, expand the appropriate component.
  2. Under the expanded component, right-click Registry, and then click Add Registry Key.
  3. In the Add Keydialog box, type the appropriate information for the following:
    • Key path

      Select the path that has all keys in the registry path, excluding the final key name.

    • Key name

      Type the name of the final key in the registry path.

    • Click OK.
      Note   After you add a registry key, you can add the registry value.
