Saving and Restoring a Configuration or Collection

You can save configurations or collections in an archive file outside the Target Designer system database (TDSD).

Important   When you install a new version of Target Designer, the TDSD and the All Nodes pane are refreshed. Thus, before upgrading Target Designer, you must export configurations and collections that you want to keep.
