Configuration Overview

Every configuration is a semifunctional Microsoft Windows NT system, which contains capabilities and components selected from the All Nodes pane. Every configuration that you build represents a target system.

Using Target Designer, build and install a configuration, and then load it on bootable media.

You can export and import the same configuration to make it portable between multiple databases or development systems.

Note   In the All Nodes pane, a configuration is represented by the following icon:
