Adding a Key to the Registry

You can add a key to the registry of a configuration or component.

To add a key to the registry

  1. On the toolbar, click the Registry Viewbutton:
  2. In the details pane, right-click the parent key for the new registry key.
  3. Click Add Key.
  4. In the Add Keydialog box, enter the appropriate information for the following:
    Key name The name of the new key in the registry path.
    Class Leave this blank. It is not used for the Target Designer.
