This method obtains extended information about the version of the operating system that is currently running on a remote Windows Embedded CE–based device.

Syntax 

BOOL CeGetVersionEx(
  LPCEOSVERSIONINFO 
lpVersionInformation 
);

Parameters

lpVersionInformation

[out] Long pointer to a CEOSVERSIONINFOdata structure that the function fills with operating system version information.

Before calling the IRAPISession::CeGetVersionExfunction, set the dwOSVersionInfoSizemember of the CEOSVERSIONINFOdata structure to 'sizeof(CEOSVERSIONINFO)'.

Return Value

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure. To get extended error information, call IRAPISession::CeGetLastErrorand IRAPISession::CeRapiGetError.

Remarks

IRAPISession::CeGetVersionExfails if you specify an invalid value for the dwOSVersionInfoSizemember of the CEOSVERSIONINFOstructure.
