This function reads OS password data.

Syntax

dwId,

dwIndex,

  DWORD
 dwLength,
  DWORD 
pdwBytesReturned
);

Parameters

dwId

Type of data to be read. Currently, only OEM_DATATYPE_PASSWORD is supported.

dwIndex

Byte offset to the data.

dwFlags

Not supported. Set to zero.

pBuf

Data to be read.

dwLength

Length of data to be read.

pdwBytesReturned

Pointer to the number of bytes to be read.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
