This macro inserts a new item in a tree-view control. You can use this macro or send the TVM_INSERTITEMmessage explicitly.

Syntax 

HTREEITEM TreeView_InsertItem( 

hwnd, 

lpis 
);

Parameters

hwnd

Handle to the tree view control.

lpis

Long pointer to a TV_INSERTSTRUCTstructure that specifies the attributes of the tree view item.

Return Value

The handle to the new item indicates success. NULL indicates failure.
