The SimGetSmsStorageStatusfunction gets the status of a Short Message Service storage location. This function is part of the SIM Manager API set that enables access to information stored on the SIM card.

Parameters

hSim

Points to a valid HSIM handle.

dwStorage

A SIM_SMSSTORAGE constant.

Value Description

SIM_SMSSTORAGE_BROADCAST

Broadcast message storage location

SIM_SMSSTORAGE_SIM

SIM storage location
lpdwUsed

Pointer to the number of locations used.

lpdwTotal

Pointer to the total number of locations.

Return Value

HRESULTs are either S_OK for success, or one of the SIM_Eerror constants defined in the SIM Manager Error Constantstable.

This is a privileged function.
