This message retrieves the handle of the edit control being used to edit the text of a tree view item. You can send this message explicitly or by using the TreeView_GetEditControlmacro.

Syntax 

TVM_GETEDITCONTROL 
wParam = 0; 

lParam = 0;

Return Value

The handle to the edit control indicates success. NULL indicates otherwise.
