This message is sent by an application to retrieve the application-defined 32-bit value associated with the specified list box item.

Parameters

index

Index of the item.

lParam

Not used.

Return Value

The return value is the 32-bit value associated with the item, or LB_ERR if an error occurs. If the item is in an owner-drawn list box and was created without the LBS_HASSTRINGS style, this 32-bit value was in the lParamparameter of the LB_ADDSTRINGor LB_INSERTSTRINGmessage that added the item to the list box. Otherwise, it is the value in the lParamof an LB_SETITEMDATAmessage.
