This message notifies a header control parent window the header item attributes are about to change. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFYmessage.

Syntax 

HDN_ITEMCHANGING 
phdr = (HD_NOTIFY FAR *) 
lParam;

Parameters

phdr

Pointer to an NMHEADERstructure that contains data about the header control and the header item, including the attributes about to change.

Return Value

TRUE prevents the changes. FALSE accepts the changes.
