This message retrieves the width of a column in report or list view. You can send this message explicitly or by using the ListView_GetColumnWidthmacro.

Syntax 

LVM_GETCOLUMNWIDTH 
wParam = (WPARAM)(int) 
iCol; 

lParam = 0;

Parameters

iCol

Index of the column. This parameter is ignored in list view.

lParam

Not used.

Return Value

The column width indicates success. Zero indicates failure. If this message is sent to a list-view control with the LVS_REPORT style and the specified column does not exist, the return value is undefined.
