This method retrieves the DirectDrawSurfaceobject that currently represents the surface memory that GDI is treating as the primary surface.

Syntax 

HRESULT GetGDISurface(
  LPDIRECTDRAWSURFACE FAR* 
lplpGDIDDSSurface
);

Parameters

lplpGDIDDSSurface

Address of a variable that will be filled with a pointer to the IDirectDrawSurfaceinterface for the surface that currently controls GDI's primary surface memory.

Return Value

If the method succeeds, the return value is DD_OK.

If the method fails, the return value may be one of the following error values:

DDERR_INVALIDOBJECT

DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS

DDERR_NOTFOUND
