The FirstNameproperty gets or sets the first name for the contact.

To get the value of the FirstNameproperty, call the property method described here.

To set the value of the FirstNameproperty, see the IContact::put_FirstNameproperty method.

Syntax

   BSTR * 
ppwsz
);

Parameters

ppwsz

[out] Reference to the first name. For information on the BSTRtype, see BSTR.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK

The method completed successfully.

Remarks

Maximum length is 1022 characters.
