This method starts an asynchronous search operation.

Syntax

HRESULT StartAsyncFind(
  LONG 
lFindData
);

Parameters

lFindData

[in] Specifies the search to start. The value of lFindDatais the value returned by a previous call to IUPnPDeviceFinder::CreateAsyncFind.

Return Value

S_OK

This method was successful.

Otherwise, the method returns one of the COM error codes defined in WinError.h.

Remarks

You can have more than one StartAsyncFindoperation running at the same time; starting another StartAsyncFinddoes not cancel a previous StartAsyncFindoperation.
