This message notifies a list-view control parent window that all items in the control were deleted. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFYmessage.

Syntax 

LVN_DELETEALLITEMS 
pnmv = (NM_LISTVIEW FAR *) 
lParam;

Parameters

pnmv

Pointer to an NMLISTVIEWstructure. The iItemmember is –1, and the other members are zero.

A list-view control sends the LVN_DELETEALLITEMSmessage when it is destroyed or when it receives the LVM_DELETEALLITEMSmessage. If LVN_DELETEALLITEMSdoes not return TRUE, the control will also send an LVN_DELETEITEMmessage as each item is deleted.

Return Value

To suppress subsequent LVN_DELETEITEMmessages, return TRUE. To receive subsequent LVN_DELETEITEMmessages, return FALSE.
