The DeleteMsgStoremethod deletes the message store from the MAPI store.

Syntax 

HRESULT DeleteMsgStore (
  ULONG 
cbEntryID,
  LPENTRYID 
lpEntryID
);

Parameters

cbEntryID

[in] Count of bytes pointed to by lpEntryID.

lpEntryID

[in] Reference to the ENTRYIDstructure identifying the message store to be deleted; cannot be NULL.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK

Indicates success.

MAPI_E_INVALID_PARAMETER

One of the following occurred: cbEntryIDdid not match the actual size of the ENTRYIDpointed to by lpEntryID, lpEntryIDwas NULL, or the ENTRYIDdid not identify a valid message store.
