This method retrieves the device associated with a surface.
Syntax
HRESULT GetDevice( IDirect3DMobileDevice** ppDevice ); |
Parameters
- ppDevice

[out] Address of a pointer to an IDirect3DMobileDeviceinterface to fill with the device pointer, if the query succeeds.
Return Value
If the method succeeds, the return value is D3DM_OK (see D3DM Values).
If the method fails, the return value can be D3DMERR_INVALIDCALL (see D3DMERR Values).
Remarks
This method allows navigation to the owning device object.
Calling this method will increase the internal reference count on the IDirect3DMobileDeviceinterface. Failure to call IUnknown::Releasewhen finished using this IDirect3DMobileDeviceinterface results in a memory leak.
