This message determines the currently selected tab in a tab control. You can send this message explicitly or by using the TabCtrl_GetCurSelmacro.

Syntax 

TCM_GETCURSEL 
wParam = 0; 

lParam = 0;

Return Value

The index of the selected tab indicates success. –1 indicates that no tab is selected.
