This macro inserts a new tab in a tab control. You can use this macro or send the TCM_INSERTITEMmessage explicitly.

Syntax 

int TabCtrl_InsertItem( 
  HWND 
hwnd, 
  int 
iItem, 
  const TCITEM FAR* 
pitem 
);

Parameters

hwnd

Handle to the tab control.

iItem

Index of the new tab.

pitem

Pointer to a TCITEMstructure that specifies the attributes of the tab. The dwStateand dwStateMaskmembers of this structure are ignored by this message.

Return Value

The index of the new tab indicates success. –1 indicates failure.
