This method gets the root object of the current node.

Syntax 

HRESULT SetRoot( 
  PVOID 
pRoot
);

Parameters

pRoot

[in] Specifies the root object of the node created by using IXMLNodeFactory::CreateNode.

Return Value

This function returns S_OK if the function is successful, otherwise an error code is returned.

Remarks

The IXMLParser::SetRootmethod provides the pNodeParentargument for all root level IXMLNodeFactory::CreateNodecalls. Because any reference counting that might be required on this object must be managed manually, the IXMLParser::GetRootmethod may be required after parsing.
