This message notifies a list-view control parent window about the end of label editing for an item. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFYmessage.

Syntax

LVN_ENDLABELEDIT 
pdi = (LV_DISPINFO FAR *) 
lParam;

Parameters

pdi

Pointer to an LV_DISPINFOstructure. The itemmember of this structure is an LVITEMstructure whose iItemmember identifies the item being edited. The pszTextmember of itemcontains a valid value when the LVN_ENDLABELEDITmessage is sent, regardless of whether the LVIF_TEXTflag is set in the maskmember of the LVITEMstructure.

If the user cancels editing, the pszTextmember of the LVITEMstructure is NULL; otherwise, pszTextis the address of the edited text.

Return Value

If the pszTextmember of the LVITEMstructure is non-NULL, return TRUEto set the item's label to the edited text. Return FALSEto reject the edited text and revert to the original label.

If the pszTextmember of the LVITEMstructure is NULL, the return value is ignored.
