This function frees a CENOTIFICATIONpointer that was posted to a client's notification window.

Syntax 

BOOL CeFreeNotification(
  CENOTIFYREQUEST* 
pRequest,
  CENOTIFICATION* 
pNotification
);

Parameters

pRequest

[in] Pointer to the CENOTIFYREQUESTstructure that was passed into the CeOpenDatabaseInSession (EDB)function when registering for notification.

pNotification

[in] Pointer to the CENOTIFICATIONstructure that was posted to a notification window handle.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure. To get extended error information, call GetLastError. The following table shows possible values.

Return Value Description

ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER

Indicates that pRequestor pNotificationis NULL.

Remarks

Failure to call this function results in leaked memory.
