This message notifies a list-view control parent window that a bounding box, or marquee, selection has begun. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFYmessage.

Syntax

Parameters

pnmv

Pointer to an NMHDRstructure.

Return Value

To accept the message, return zero. To quit the bounding box selection, return nonzero.

Remarks

A bounding box selectionis the process of clicking the list-view window's client area and dragging to select multiple items simultaneously.
