The Addressproperty gets or sets the e-mail address of the recipient.

To get the value of the Addressproperty, call the property method described here.

To set the value of the Addressproperty, use the IRecipient::put_Addressproperty method.

Syntax

Parameters

ppwsz

[out] Reference to the e-mail address. For information on the BSTRtype, see BSTR.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK

The method completed successfully.

Remarks

In the desktop version of Microsoft Outlook , the recipient address is read-only, and can be only set with the IPOlRecipient::Resolvemethod. Outlook Mobile might not have access to the Contacts database (for example, if it is only on the server), so its recipient address is both read and write.

You can also set the recipient address with the IPOlRecipient::Resolvemethod.

The recipient address is a required property, and cannot be set to NULL.
