This method retrieves a matrix describing a transformation state.

Syntax

  D3DMTRANSFORMSTATETYPE

pMatrix,
  D3DMFORMAT* 
pFormat
);

Parameters

State

[in] Device state variable that is being modified. This parameter can be any member of the D3DMTRANSFORMSTATETYPEenumerated type.

pMatrix

[out] Pointer to a D3DMMATRIXstructure that describes the returned transformation state.

pFormat

[in] A pointer to a member of the D3DMFORMATenumerated type that describes the numerical format for the transformation.

Return Value

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3DM_OK (see D3DM Values).

If the method fails, the return value can be D3DMERR_INVALIDCALL (see D3DMERR Values).
