This message removes an item from a tree view control. You can send this message explicitly or by using the TreeView_DeleteItemor TreeView_DeleteAllItemsmacro.

Syntax 

TVM_DELETEITEM 
wParam = 0; 

lParam = (LPARAM)(HTREEITEM) 
hitem;

Parameters

hitem

Handle to the item to delete. If hitemis the TVI_ROOT value, all items are deleted from the tree view control.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
