This function unloads the driver for the specified device and deletes the active key of the device from the registry.

Syntax 

BOOL DeactivateDevice(
  HANDLE 
hDevice
);

Parameters

hDevice

[in] Handle to an active device. The ActivateDeviceand ActivateDeviceExfunctions return this value.

Return Value

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure.
