This inline function adds two 4-D vectors together in floating point format.

Syntax

  CONST D3DMXVECTOR4* 
pV2
);

Parameters

pOut

[in, out] Pointer to the D3DMXVECTOR4structure that is the result of the operation.

pV1

[in] Pointer to a source D3DMXVECTOR4structure.

pV2

[in] Pointer to a source D3DMXVECTOR4structure.

Return Value

This function returns a pointer to a D3DMXVECTOR4structure that is the sum of the two vectors.

Remarks

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOutparameter. In this way, the D3DXVec4Addfunction can be used as a parameter for another function.
