Sets the media type for the connection to use.

Syntax 

HRESULT SetMediaType(
  const CMediaType* 
mt 
);

Parameters

mt

Pointer to an output media type to be used.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULTvalue (NOERROR by default).

Remarks

This member function overrides the CBasePin::SetMediaTypemember function and calls the CTransformFilter::SetMediaTypemember function with the direction set to output.

Override CTransformFilter::SetMediaTypeto handle conditions that you want handled at this time in the connection process.
