This callback function is an application-defined function. The run time calls this function to dereference a connection that is no longer needed. The connection might have been established through a successful call to the QUERYFORCONNECTIONor NOTIFYOFNEWCONNECTIONfunction. The DEREFERENCECONNECTIONname for this function is a placeholder for the function name defined by the application.

Parameters

PrimaryConnection

[in] Specifies the primary connection.

ConnectionToDereference

[in, out] Specifies the connection to dereference.

Return Value

If the call succeeds, the function should return LDAP_SUCCESS. The run time currently ignores the return value.
