This macro sets the tooltip text. You can use this macro or send the LVM_SETINFOTIPmessage explicitly.

Syntax 

BOOL ListView_SetInfoTip(
  HWND 
hwnd,
  PLVSETINFOTIP 
plvSetInfoTip
);

Parameters

hwnd

Handle to the list-view control.

plvSetInfoTip

Pointer to a LVSETINFOTIPstructure that contains the information to set.

Return Value

Returns TRUE if the tooltip text is set successfully, or FALSE otherwise.
