This function returns the normalized version of a given vector in fixed point format.

Parameters

pOut

[in, out] Pointer to the D3DMXVECTOR4FXDstructure that is the result of the operation.

pV

[in] Pointer to the source D3DMXVECTOR4FXDstructure.

Return Value

This function returns a pointer to a D3DMXVECTOR4FXDstructure that is the normalized version of the vector.

Remarks

The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOutparameter. In this way, the D3DXVec4NormalizeFxdfunction can be used as a parameter for another function.
