Mobile Operators can change device configuration by provisioning the device after manufacture. You can configure the device for the first time (bootstrap), or can change configuration settings.
By following these steps, you will know how to:
- Create a provisioning XML file.
- Choose a method of delivery.
- Optionally package the XML file for delivery and sign the
package file.
- Deliver the provisioning XML file to the device.
- Verify that the file installed and that the configuration
settings were changed.
The following list shows the tasks that you must perform to provision a device.
