This method sets the value of a property on a moniker.

Syntax

Parameters

mkp

[in] MONIKERPROPERTYenumerated type value that specifies the property to set on the moniker.

val

[in] String value that specifies the value to set.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if this is successful or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

Urlmon.dll queries a persistent moniker, such as a MIME handler, for the IMonikerPropinterface. If it is implemented, Urlmon.dll calls the IMonikerProp::PutPropertymethod to pass information, such as the MIME type, about the moniker.
