The YomiLastNameproperty gets or sets the Japanese phonetic rendering (Yomigana) of the last name for the contact.

Syntax

Parameters

pwsz

[in] Reference to the Yomigana last name. For information on the BSTRtype, see BSTR.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK

The method completed successfully.

Remarks

Maximum length is 1022 characters.

This property applies to Japanese products only. Attempting to get or put this property on other products fails and returns an E_NOTIMPLerror.
