The following table shows the header controls structures, with a description of the purpose of each.

Programming element	Description
HDHITTESTINFO	This structure contains information about a hit test.
HDITEM	This structure contains information about an item in a header control.
HDLAYOUT	This structure contains information used to set the size and position of a header control.
NMHDDISPINFO	This structure contains information used in handling HDN_GETDISPINFOmessages.
NMHEADER	This structure contains information about header control messages. This structure supersedes the HD_NOTIFYstructure.
